PCS-ing?

We understand that there is a possibility that you may be transferring into our office with braces or transferring out of our office mid-treatment. This is not a problem.

For ‘transfer-in’ patients we try and pick-up right where your orthodontist left off, providing that beautiful smile as quickly and efficiently as possible. If you have the photos/x-rays and or paperwork from your previousorthodontist, that would be great but not necessary.

For patients that transfer-out of our office mid-treatment – we hate to see you go but we understand. We will email the necessary photos/x-rays and paperwork for another orthodontist to seamlessly pick up where we left off. Please let us know of your planned PCS date as soon as you can. We try to accommodate by attempting to finish your treatment before you move if at all possible.

We follow the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommended transfer fee “scale out” form. Based on this formula, a reasonable and customary fee amount is determined for the orthodontic treatment rendered. Oftentimes money is refunded to our transfer-out patients.
