It’s always a great time at CTO, so don’t be afraid to join in on the silly songs we sing or to dance down the hallway together!  We take our all star orthodontic care very seriously and enjoy getting to know every patient and being a part of their lives.  I was born and raised in Texas; I’ve worked as a dental assistant for seven years and at CTO for three. I have a true passion for orthodontics and I love seeing people gain confidence, self-esteem and watching their transformation throughout orthodontic treatment.  Each team -member is dedicated to providing the best patient care possible and always doing it with a smile!

DENTAL TIP: Remember to brush your tongue after you brush your teeth, it helps eliminate bad breath!

Watching what orthodontics does to help change peoples’ lives is what I love about working with our Team.  Having been with CTO for ten years now, it is so rewarding to see people smile after their braces are removed when before they wouldn’t smile at all.  I love talking and joking around with our patients.   I’ve lived in Kempner for 11 years and have three daughters and a grandson – he is my sunshine.  My youngest daughter was treated here and it was beautiful watching her teeth move into a dazzling smile.  Our Team lives for working together to make our patients and parents cheerful and excited about their orthodontic care!

DENTAL TIP: Use fluoride toothpaste and angle your toothbrush to get around your brackets and near your gums where most plaque builds up.

Here at CTO, I love what I do because I can change a person’s life.  To give a child the gift of higher confidence and to have more self-belief in themselves is so very rewarding. I have been practicing orthodontics for almost 7 years and general dentistry for 23 years. My husband, daughter and I are natives of Waco.  We have a great group of patients who treat us like family, telling us what’s going on at school, work and in their everyday lives.  I think that’s one of the best testimonies to our great patient care.  Every day I come to work it’s different because of our patients; they are the best part of my day.  Where else can you go and have this much fun at work?! To make our patients smile is our priority.

Interacting with great people all day is why I love my work.  Seeing the progression of our patients’ treatment and watching their confidence blossom with the look of their new smile is hugely rewarding.  It’s so enjoyable to laugh with our patients as we work to give them the best orthodontic care possible!  I am originally from Rusk, Texas and I set almost everything I do in my life to music.  CTO is always doing something fun like contests or singing while we work– our place is lively and hopping every single day!  Together, our Team makes things work and flow smoothly.  It is comforting to know that I can rely on my team and they can rely on me, and therefore our patients and families can always rely on us.

DENTAL TIP: Gum tissues may swell from food agitating them, so brush after every meal or snack to prevent swollen, sore gums!

Our office is like no other! We love and welcome all out patients from the first phone call, your entire treatment, to your last visit and beyond.  I enjoy working here at CTO because I get to take care of and interact with different people every day and make a difference in the quality of their life.  I have worked in general dentistry for six years and orthodontics is new to me, but I love every minute of it.  I am a native of Killeen and live with my husband, son and daughter.  We all learn so much working at CTO with our entire team.  I love sending people on their way after an appointment with a huge smile on their face and a bounce in their step.
